LES, SHARON AND NIGEL

Les (whom you met yesterday) with Sharon and Nigel, opening another late gift at their late wedding celebration party (Nigel's second marriage and my second son). This was a neat gift - a digital photo frame which played their wedding photos in a slide show. My daughter had pre-loaded this with photos from their wedding in Cancun, which I had edited for them. (These family pictures are by no means "portraits". I used floodlights in the old days for portraiture. Flash, bang photos are not the same at all. I have even tried flash bounced into umbrellas, but the lighting is not so precise as flood lights.
Thanks everyone for your posts yesterday. I can't get round with all the thank you emails right now, and look at everyones new pictures and comment as well! Comments are so appreciated :-)

Well! I am back and missed being away so long due to ill health. It was a bit of a struggle to find energy to stay on my computer and post. My daughter Lesley and her husband Robin, gave me this wonderful gift of a cruise to Alaska and Lesley and I had a whale of a time! I could just live on that ship - absolutely wanted for nothing! Hope to hear from you all! Don't know how much I can get around posting comments - so will probably have to keep them brief - but will try to get around as much as I can! Thanks to all my friends for their good wishes!

Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! I am a bit out of practice at both taking and editing decent photographs - so help me if you can!
