The sunken garden is a deeper part of the quarry that Butchart's Gardens were built in. From the top I could not get enough detail, with the lens I had, of flowers etc. down below. This was taken before going down tons of steps into the garden - it just gives an idea of the layout - which is much, much larger than I could capture here. I have seen photos taken in spring and summer and it is absolutely gorgeous. Here, they were in the process of changing over the flowers and color schemes to autumn and winter flowers and colors.
Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! If there is anything that I can change that really needs changing and I can do it in editing - then I will change it and re-post the photo!

@Jerry: It is a beautiful place to go with a camera Jerry. Should go more often and try to get the spring and summer colors. The ferry to the Island goes every hour and I don't live too far from the Ferry Terminal at Tswassen. But would need to stay overnight - it takes so long to get around Butchart's Gardens - oh! heck! I wouldn't want to go for one night to Victoria - there are so many things we didn't have time to see!
So green... so beautiful.
