Another view in the Sunken Garden before we started on the path out of that part of the gardens
Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! If there is anything that I can change that really needs changing and I can do it in editing - then I will change it and re-post the photo! I promise I won't scream and shout or cry for very long!

Anne - we have a "Sunken Gardens" here in St. Petersburg that is lovely but not appear to be anywhere the size of the place you have been shooting! Just INCREDIBLE! Thanks for sharing this neat place!

@Jerry: Thanks Jerry! Would love to see some photos from your Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg - you have the warmth all year round, and most likely have incredible blooms even in winter! Butchart's Gardens is pretty big - the Sunken Garden is only one piece of them.
Beautiful...love the deep shadows and bright sun on the gardens.

@Jen: Thank you Jen! The weather was just perfect that weekend - very contrasty situations though - some pictures turned out with too many deep shadows.
Nicely shot and beautiful colors!

@Craiger: Thank you Craiger!
You did a good job with those huge contrasts between sun and shade. Beautiful garden.

@Yvon: Thank you for your comment! Contrasty situations were the order of the day in that beautiful weather :)

@Laurie: Thank you Laurie! I would love to go back when the spring/summer flowers are blooming - that must be even more gorgeous. This was the end of September.
