Many unusual plants in this area - but unfortunately I did not capture any of them except for this tree. The color of it covered in lichen struck me. I had to get more film - only had a couple of exposures left - so just took this photo in this area - until I could get more at a gift shop near the Italian Gardens.

I went to these gardens some years ago when I visited Canada for an all-too-brief holiday and conference. It was such an awesome place, but way too many people! Could have spent so long there...
