A photo of the patio outside our rented house in La Penita, Mexico last December. Note the Mexica Shutters on windows - not much glass in mexican windows - it lets air and nice breeze in and keeps people out.
Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! If there is anything that I can change that really needs changing and I can do it in editing - then I will change it and re-post the photo! I promise I won't scream and shout or cry for very long!

@Nancy McLintock: Nancy: After my email, I realized that I could probably get contact information for this guy we rented from - my daughter has it. However, it is about a twentyt-five minute walk into the main street of La Penita, to the taxi stand, market, etc. If you are taking a car you would be fine, or able to walk each day into town. The owner lives in Canada - I don't know if he would do long term rentals or not. But he probably would, because the season is over now for most Canadian tourists. Let me know if you are interested in this house. It was very comfortable, decent beds, small kitchen etc. - 2 bedroom, living room and kitchen.
