APRIL FOOL!!

This weather sure fooled me - I got up and couldn't believe my eyes! This sort of thing could happen further north or in the Rockies - but surely not here on the coast on April 1st!

Thanks everyone for your good wishes - I still have a bruise or two but otherwise mended.

Well! I am back and missed being away so long due to ill health. It was a bit of a struggle to find energy to stay on my computer and post. My daughter Lesley and her husband Robin, gave me this wonderful gift of a cruise to Alaska and Lesley and I had a whale of a time! I could just live on that ship - absolutely wanted for nothing! Hope to hear from you all! Don't know how much I can get around posting comments - so will probably have to keep them brief - but will try to get around as much as I can! Thanks to all my friends for their good wishes!

Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! I am a bit out of practice at both taking and editing decent photographs - so help me if you can!

@Behrooz: Thanks Behrooz! I guess you are right - He sometimes shows a sense of humour - but on the other hand mankind brings about its own troubles - our climate is definitely changing - mostly because of our own stupidity!

@Jerry: Yes! This was April 1st. Not much to worry about though - I was nice and dry under my patio roof and zoomed in to the top of the street. It was bad for drivers in the area that morning though - reduced the visibility quite a bit. It turned to rain in the afternoon and was washed away very quickly. It is the climate changing that worries me more.

Yeah, Seem the winter is back, here in Montreal we have snow again since last night. Anyway this is a nice shot. I like the feel of movement in snow.

@Reza: Thanks for visiting and for your comments :) The snow is so unusual here this year. Have had snow, gales, snow, gales, days of non-stop downpours of rain. Rain is more the norm for our winters on the soutwest coast with perhaps one good snowfall!

Wow! Wild weather!

My husband just called and he asked me if I saw the snow a little while ago. My back was to the window so I missed it. He said it was like a miniature blizzard and white out conditions for a few moments. No trace of it now though.

@Laurie: It has been pretty wild here for these parts, on the South West Cost of BC, this winter. The norm is usually rain, or mostly cloudy with drizzly rainy weather. Seems to have gone on since November this winter, wild winds and gales that did a lot of damage and lots of snowfalls.
