A GLANCE BACK AT THE TRAIN

Here, I looked back after my last shot, to see the rest of the train - it seemed quite a long one. Also noticed that the tide was coming in quite rapidly - there was water now where there had been sand banks before!

PS. After I posted it I noticed I had forgotten to clean up the spot in the sky - must have got something on my filter.

Well! I am back and missed being away so long due to ill health. It was a bit of a struggle to find energy to stay on my computer and post. My daughter Lesley and her husband Robin, gave me this wonderful gift of a cruise to Alaska and Lesley and I had a whale of a time! I could just live on that ship - absolutely wanted for nothing! Hope to hear from you all! Don't know how much I can get around posting comments - so will probably have to keep them brief - but will try to get around as much as I can! Thanks to all my friends for their good wishes!

Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! I am a bit out of practice at both taking and editing decent photographs - so help me if you can!

I like this view. It amazes me how long some of the trains are.

I just found some dust on my sensor too. Not pleasant and I fear cleaning it. Got the Rocket blower used it, I hope it did the job. I haven't tested it yet. But if it didn't I got the kit which I'm afraid to use.

@Laurie: Thanks for your comment Laurie! Appreciate your visits. Let me know if the blower worked. I have cleaned my lenses and haze filters etc. and took a shot of the sky outside, but it is still there. Actually, I'm not surprised - it's been in Mexico, on the beach, out in all kinds of weather here, and shot more than 4,000 times since December. There are instructions for doing more cleaning with mine too, but I don't want to try it since I collapsed a screen in front of the mirror inside my Minolta Maxuum film camera a short while ago.

@amy: Thanks Amy! I kinda liked it too for the long line in it - even though not as colorful as the ones facing the other way from the sun. ;-)

Now that's one LONG train!!! Hate to get stuck at that crossing : )

@Jen: Yes Jen it was a half decent length. Thank goodness I had gone through the crossing onto the pier a good few minutes before - Thanks for visiting again : )

Thanks Reza! I thought it was just dirt on my filter or lens, but its still there after I cleaned them. I'm not going inside it to clean anything - I broke one camera doing that :(
