FLY ME TO THE MOON!

I also took an exposure of the full moon at the end of March. I didn't want to overexpose it and have it just as a bright glow! So I exposed it normally - no tripod needed or higher ISO - and got a moon with some detail on it. But, it kinda looked lonely by itself in the photo - t'would have taken a longer exposure to capture some stars! So I've added a few! I like to play now and again. ;)

Well! I am back and missed being away so long due to ill health. It was a bit of a struggle to find energy to stay on my computer and post. My daughter Lesley and her husband Robin, gave me this wonderful gift of a cruise to Alaska and Lesley and I had a whale of a time! I could just live on that ship - absolutely wanted for nothing! Hope to hear from you all! Don't know how much I can get around posting comments - so will probably have to keep them brief - but will try to get around as much as I can! Thanks to all my friends for their good wishes!

Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! I am a bit out of practice at both taking and editing decent photographs - so help me if you can!

HAHA! That was a fun picture, Anne. I was looking in disbelief the very first moment.
I wish I could capture the moon like that. It's never like this in my city.

@Behrooz: Don't feel so bad Behrooz, my moon wasn't that big in the original large file. I duplicated the original and then did an awful big crop to get this one with a larger moon. All the detail is still there at 800 x but the file of the moon like this, is not large enough to get a good print out of it. I don't have a lens long enough to magnify it this big. The stars are actually animated, and would twinkle if I could post it all as a .GIF file. But we can't on here. I might add a witch and pumpkins for a web page at Halloween next Autumn. It was a very clear night - but a lot of them can be very cloudy. :)

WONDERFUL shot and enhancements!!! Without a mega lens it is so hard to get a good shot of the moon!

Great shot Anne, and very creative of you to put those extra stars around it. :) It certainly makes a wonderful photoframe. Get in their between the moon and stars hehehe..... :)
