FOG ON THE FERRYPosted by Anne (White Rock, Canada) on 3 May 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Water Theme III Thank you Damon for organizing this theme - it has generated some wonderful images among the members - relating to "water". The fog we ran into on the way to Vancouver Island was more scary than the sea. The deck of the ship was almost in darkness, yet the sun shone very brightly through the fog. The fog horn sounded continuously to warn smaller vessels that we were there! There were many other smaller ferries and private ocean going boats on the water before we ran into this pea soup! In the Bow and portside, it was almost completely dark. I managed to take quite a lot of similar shots before doing what the sensible people did - and went back into one of the large passenger lounges out of the dampness! ;-D Thanks everyone, for your posts yesterday - really appreciate your visits and comments. Anne Well! I am back and missed being away so long due to ill health. It was a bit of a struggle to find energy to stay on my computer and post. My daughter Lesley and her husband Robin, gave me this wonderful gift of a cruise to Alaska and Lesley and I had a whale of a time! I could just live on that ship - absolutely wanted for nothing! Hope to hear from you all! Don't know how much I can get around posting comments - so will probably have to keep them brief - but will try to get around as much as I can! Thanks to all my friends for their good wishes! Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! I am a bit out of practice at both taking and editing decent photographs - so help me if you can! If you like my photos, please rank me on VFXY and/or vote for me in the [url=http://www.co
