Thank you everyone for your kind comments on the wedding series! I'm just trying to get over a viral infection of some kind, which has made me feel too 'down' to sit and post to everyone who has been kind enough to visit my blog. Aminus3 people are just so great!

This mule deer I spotted after we had just come back from a boat ride on the Okanagon Lake in Vernon. He was walking all the way up the edge of the beach, and I was afraid he would have disappeared behind this outcrop of land before I was within photo reach. However, he stopped here to graze a little, just looked up at me and then just went on grazing. The canvas and vignette effect on this one are filters in Nero Snapshot. It comes along with Nero 7 Ultra CD/DVD software. There are many programs within Nero 7. The recording software I had previously was not doing very well in Windows Vista so I purchased the ultra Nero 7 as an upgrade to the older one I had. Just over half price if you can upgrade from a previous version.

Well! I am back and missed being away so long due to ill health. It was a bit of a struggle to find energy to stay on my computer and post. My daughter Lesley and her husband Robin, gave me this wonderful gift of a cruise to Alaska and Lesley and I had a whale of a time! I could just live on that ship - absolutely wanted for nothing! Hope to hear from you all! Don't know how much I can get around posting comments - so will probably have to keep them brief - but will try to get around as much as I can! Thanks to all my friends for their good wishes!

Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! I am a bit out of practice at both taking and editing decent photographs - so help me if you can!

@Bron: Hi Bron: thanks for visiting and your good wishes and comments. Feel a lot better thank you - but still feel awfully tired all the time! I expect I need a good kick up the backside! How was Photoshop Elements Clunky? My other photo programs are clunky in regard to the amount of toolbars on display - but I just go to the View Menu and uncheck the ones that I am not likely to be using. Hoping you are feeling more up to par now! :-)

Your wedding series was wonderful Anne :), I love the bubbles one. I wish the happy couple many years of joy, love and happiness :)

I really must get a program to do effects etc, it looks so much fun!
I do like this one, just like a painting.

@MaryB: Glad you enjoyed the wedding series Mary! Have tons more, but would have been posting wedding pictures for the next year! The bubble one was fun to do! It was actually an animation!! I had to stop the frames at the one which showed the bubbles large enough and in the right position to show the reflection well! Photo Impact from www.ulead.com does lots of effects really quite easily. My version is old Photo Impact 8 and they are up to version 12 now. Thanks again for dropping by and your inerest! :-)

@Lost Valley Views: Thank you Lost! The pp is much simpler with the presets in other photo programs than in PS. I don't have the plug-ins that I collected for Photoshop in this computer. I know I saved them to CD but I am not quite sure where that CD is at the moment - it's Lost!

@bronzebilly u.k.: Thanks for the TLC Billy! I needed that! When I told my daughter I couldn't get over to her house she said "Mom, I've never known anyone as sick as you are", which didn't make me feel any better! But she's right to a point - I seem to have been down with one thing or another since the middle of May. Lots better now though - what I need next is for someone to give me a kick up the arse to get me going with some energy! :-)

Photoshp E No 1 is great Anne - it's simple to use but has a great range of editing tools - I still don't think I've used all the possibilities - I love it. PE No 3 was much harder to navigate - different screens to view and edit but not intuitive at all. I've used computers for as long as they've existed but this was really hard to use easily...
I'm back to PE 1 and loving it - since it's a hobby not a profession I haven't gone with full Photoshop which is pretty expensive & technical I believe?? Have you used it?
I'm ok thanks - with chronic fatigue it's a constant management thing - so if I listen to my body I can do it!! :))
I hope your tiredness lifts soon
