Anne - In Charcoal!

Posted by Anne (White Rock, Canada) on 28 September 2007 in People & Portrait.

Only photo I had of myself to come up with Dimitrios' self-portrait challenge! Taken 1 year ago I had got sunburned and was pretty wet - sitting on the steps of my daughter and son-in-law's pool, so I charcoal painted it!

From Dimitrios!
"Dear friends in the am3 world.
I would like to propose the publication of a couple of self portraits for Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of September. It can be anything you like, mirror images which is the easiest, reflection on a spoon! Ha-ha-ha, or even sketches of yourselves.
It will be great to see each other and to meet the talented photographers from all around the globe.
I have the greatest respect for the people that want but cannot due to cultural or religious reasons publish their image on the web.
For these am3-friends that want to participate, I kindly ask them to publish instead a picture of a place in their home town that they are proud of.
Please feel free to copy this text with your daily pictures so we have a great participation.
I am looking forward in meeting you on 28th and 29th September, see ya soon.
Kind regards Dimitrios".

Good Lord! Do I have to find another one for tomorrow! :-o

Well! I am back and missed being away so long due to ill health. It was a bit of a struggle to find energy to stay on my computer and post. My daughter Lesley and her husband Robin, gave me this wonderful gift of a cruise to Alaska and Lesley and I had a whale of a time! I could just live on that ship - absolutely wanted for nothing! Hope to hear from you all! Don't know how much I can get around posting comments - so will probably have to keep them brief - but will try to get around as much as I can! Thanks to all my friends for their good wishes!

Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! I am a bit out of practice at both taking and editing decent photographs - so help me if you can!
