The view of the lake from Anna's Stables. That is where my daughter-in-law's horse, Otto, lives Winfield is just over half way from Vernon to Kelowna, BC.
If anyone gets lost with this, I will put up a map on my web site - let me know! If not, then just enjoy the photos! :-)
Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! If there is anything that I can change that really needs changing and I can do it in editing - then I will change it and re-post the photo! I promise I won't scream and shout or cry for very long!
My other photoblog has been started too! Anne's Galleries

Anne - I left a comment earlier but it looks like the dreaded spam filter got it - can you check and see if its in the spam folder. Thanks, Ian

@Ian Bramham: No Ian, it is not in the spam filter - all I had in there were those guys from prescription sites!!! Thanks anyway! I did have some trouble posting earlier; didn't look like they had posted - but if I clicked the button again, I had posted twice once the home page was refreshed! Thank you anyway for the thought! :-)
Oooooo! Lovely!

@amy: Thanks Amy! Wofgang said it was a little overexposed in the foreground! It was a RAW picture so I can play around with exposure etc. quite a bit. Will you have another look and give me a second opinion on the "corrected version" I uploaded. Sometimes my eyes go funny after I've messed around a bit! ;-)
Nice photo, but the foreground seems to be a little overexposed....

@Wolfgang Prigge: Wolfgang: I have changed the exposure on this photo a little which gives the foreground a bit more punch as you suggested. Also took the dark tones down a bit, which makes the hills darker but the reflection in the lake is now more pronounced I think. Let me know if this is better than what you saw the first time around. Thanks for the criticism - sometime after editing a few late at night, my judgement of brightness darkness etc. gets a little out of whack! :-)
Anne, the foreground in the first post didn't bother me at all... however, looking at this new post, I see that it is better. The lake reflection is definitely more pronounced and the foreground is better. But I think some of that amazing Kalamalka lake colour was lost. Of course, I'm going from memory and would do better with a side by side comparison.... but overall this does seem to be a better exposure. Either way? I still love the image!
