On my way back down the avenue to the intersection I took a few shots of the downed power lines - they were down all the way to the last pole near the intersection with the main road. It was beginning to grow darker and all I was hoping now was that they could restore our power soon - starting to worry now about frozen food etc., as well as the night coming on with no lights.

A nice wood stove would come in handy at times like this! We are all too dependent on corporations and governments in my opinion! Good documentary shot Anne!

It looks like that storm really made a mess of things. I hope everything is getting or is all back to normal for everyone there.

Hi Anne!!! What a storm hey? Having lived in Richmond, BC for7 years I can attest to the winds and rain. then I moved to the Central coast for a period of time and whoaa those were winds!!!!! They almost knocked me over. Expecting some snow this week!!!
