The top photo was the Last Rose of the Summer in my garden - bloomed beginning of October! The underneath photo is not mine - but I "borrowed" the chickadee to paste onto my Rose yesterday. We do have chickadees like this all the year round - but they seldom stay in one place more than a second or two - only sitting like this in tree branches or the large shrubs like the overgrown rhododendron at the side of my patio where they feel safe. They often fly onto the roses for a second or two - but I cannot photograph them from my patio window because they are usually backlit by the time they make an appearance. Also they are gone as soon as they sense me move. I will try to get my own photos of them when the weather improves (pouring down in buckets the last few days and snow before that). I will have to wait out on the lawn so that I can zoom in on them with decent lighting. Thanks for enjoying my great and wonderful capture yesterday! LOL :-D Go back and compare the processed Rose/Bird yesterday!
Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! If there is anything that I can change that really needs changing and I can do it in editing - then I will change it and re-post the photo! I promise I won't scream and shout or cry for very long!
My other photoblog has been started too! Anne's Galleries

Beautiful photo of the rose, I love the droplets...also looking quickly back I found the previous rose one thoroughly outstanding, and the silver dolphin just took my breath what an incredible finish!!!

You did a great job with that. It was quite convincing. Such a sweet photo!
Oh I wanted to answer your question about my bronchitis. I am pretty much back to 100% or at least 98%. It was viral so no antibiotics. It wiped me out but at least it was quick and didn't hang on for weeks!

@bronzebilly u.k.: Hi Billyboy! Thank you for the Christmas Wishes etc. Hope yours has been a great one and have a wonderful 2008. First time I've even got to my computer as was away with family - wonderful Christmas - been playing with a new lens I got as a gift from one of my sons and installing my own personal copy of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom - never got chance to post a Christmas photo. The shopping, parking and walking was way too much for a recovering 'flu patient. But the last time out on that ridiculous stuff, I felt great - so hopefully it has gone away. Now tired all over again with a lot more food, drink and everything more than I usually have - ah well! Hope you ate too much as well! ;-)
Happy New Year, Anne! Wish you all the best in the comming year.
