When the weather is rough at sea the gulls retreat and come looking for breakfast and lunch here! My high ISO is simply because the weather was so dim and gloomy I couldn't get enough shutter speed up for the size of this lens.
Big cyberhugs to everyone - I'm glad to be back for a while - sure missed everyone!
Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! If there is anything that I can change that really needs changing and I can do it in editing - then I will change it and re-post the photo!

How did I miss this... I was looking for you when I got back.. Love the shot Anne!! His feet sure are pink... can't say I've ever noticed that before.. guess it could partially be due to the cold. Welcome back, my friend!

That gull has a lot of personality. I'm amazed that gulls fly so far inland (I've seen them in Idaho and Nevada, for example). If I was a gull though, I'd definitely fly south for the winter.
