A WALK THROUGH WHISTLER VILLAGE - 2

Lots of restaurants and shops around the Village Square and up the short streets which leed to the foot of the ski slopes. ! Many condos above the shops, etc.

The green is definitely different in this one. What did you do differently, Anne? I've never been up to Whistler. Have always wanted to do the Sea to Sky but just never seemed to have time. So I'm thinking with your series here on the village that you're doing a pretty good job selling it for the 2010 Olympics!! LOL

@amy: I am not sure! The exposure is less on this - but also I processed all 200 photos on this trip last summer - in the beta of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. They were all RAW files - so at that point when I was using Lightroom, I hadn't realized that you can copy and paste all the setttings used on a similarly lighted photo, and get the same results, (color, exposure, etc.) So they all ended up different anyway.
I would like to go up to Whistler now whilst it is still covered in snow - then I could do a real promo job for the Olympics in 2010. I've already picked the spot I want to stand in to see the downhill ski events! LOL. (Have you seen the price of those tickets?) With accommodation as well it would be out of reach for me (especially as I want to see the opening ceremonies in Vancouver as well) Oh! Dream On Anne - I saw photos somebody had taken in Turin - and oh! how I would love to do that here! Just too much for 2 or 3 days. Like $750.00 for a decent seat at the opening ceremonies - yikes! ;-(
