Well! I am back and missed being away so long due to ill health. It was a bit of a struggle to find energy to stay on my computer and post. My daughter Lesley and her husband Robin, gave me this wonderful gift of a cruise to Alaska and Lesley and I had a whale of a time! I could just live on that ship - absolutely wanted for nothing! Hope to hear from you all! Don't know how much I can get around posting comments - so will probably have to keep them brief - but will try to get around as much as I can! Thanks to all my friends for their good wishes!

Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! I am a bit out of practice at both taking and editing decent photographs - so help me if you can!

Beautifully done, Anne!! Really!!! It's a classic shot but it's still one of the best places to get Cascade. You did a fabulous job on scanning this one. And it's so amazing how that little main street has changed all these years later... Thank goodness the bridge still looks like that!!

Thanks Amy! Yes! you are right! This main street in Banff changed over the years, since I first saw it after emigrating from England to Canada! The mountains never seem to change - only the pics where there are buildings. The first time I visited here there wasn't as much as this! The last time I went - so many more shops and restaurant facades changed to more 'modern' building look! ;-)

PS. I am a bit disappointed I didn't get more visitors and it was strange - until I got responses to my comments from MaryB and ManuelaR that they had lost me! They didn't have any links from my posts to visit back. So it looks like many more that I made a post to didn't have a link either. ManuelaR asked me to sign in again on her response so she could visit me! Strangest thing was I could do all the things you can do when you are signed in. Anyway, now I have signed out and re-signed in again! What is weirder still is that it looks like you had a link back to my blog - because you have always been there! Thanks a lot for that Amy! Wasn't able to post last night because I had a friend for dinner late, and it was a visit I didn't expect, also the night before because I was visiting at his house and stayed overnight because we yapped so much it was too late to come home!!! So that all makes matters worse! But I posted my heart out the day before all that and still not response. So I will see what happens now I have completely signed out and re-signed in! Disappointing I think because it was more work with the scans than with digital! Thanks for being so faithful! ;-)
