The Towhees are very nervous birds. Although three times larger than the little chickadees, this one will fly away from the smaller birds. He is too scared to perch on the bird feeder because the chickadees have claimed it as their own! This one is a female. Her male counterpart is much slimmer and more vibrantly coloured.
Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! If there is anything that I can change that really needs changing and I can do it in editing - then I will change it and re-post the photo! I promise I won't scream and shout or cry for very long!
