The bees are busy around this rhododendron collecting nectar!
Thank you a bunch for visiting while I have been absent again! I will try to get around everyone, but probably not today! Have to go out for dinner in the mid afternoon - so won't be home until bed-time! Appreciate all your comments so much! :-)
Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! If there is anything that I can change that really needs changing and I can do it in editing - then I will change it and re-post the photo!

@Michael Rawluk: Thanks Michael! I had a lot of shots that were all blurred! My macro is also a 70-300 mm zoom and I am not good at holding it steady without a tripod unless I am in very bright light - can't get enough shutter speed up. I couldn't have followed these bees around the rhododendron with a tripod anyway. As soon as they alighted, they disappeared inside a flower. Good thing there were lots of them! :-)
Wow, incredible capture! I love the detail and the colors.

@Michael Skorulski: Thank you for your visit and comments Michael! Hey! Your country says you are from Hong Kong?? Had one from Amy in Canada, one day recently, which said she lived in Afghanistan! She swears she didn't change the country in the message window! lol!
Very nicely done. It is a gentle image.

@Laurie: Thanks Laurie! Yes! It is rather soft! I think that is because my macro is quite a long zoom and this bee wasn't in the brightest part of the rhododendron bush - want to buy a shorter macro soon! :-)
Thats a sweet little bee, nice shot.

@Richard_Irwin: Hi Richard, thank you! There was I chasing all the bees around the rhododendron tree - and they wouldn't stay still for a 200th of a second. I have to get a shorter macro lens. This one is 70-300 mm. And it was a devil of a job trying to get enough shutter speed up to avoid camera shake. It's definitely a bright light or tripod lens. But, it was a Christmas gift and I can't look a gift horse in the mouth! lol

@bronzebilly u.k.: Sorry to be so late with the thanks! I am posting pretty erratically myself! In fact I almost didn't thank you Billy Boy, was just going to stick with posting to a few of the pals. It's old age - yer know - can't do six things at once as well as I used to! Glad you like the dickie birds! I put up another shot of them Chickadees (plural) Through My Window. I'll go check and see if you have posted another one after this!
