Otto

While in Vernon we paid a visit to Otto, my daughter-in-law Sharon's horse. . Otto is a beautiful show-jumping horse, standing 17 hands. Since his abdominal surgery about a year ago, he has been moved from his posh stable quarters where he had someone to show him and ride him, to boarding in these quarters, nearer home to Sharon, so she can visit and ride him more often. He has had to learn to become a horse again - living in a small field - there is a shelter for bad weather though! He is fully recovered now, so maybe she can show jump him again soon.

Well! I am back and missed being away so long due to ill health. It was a bit of a struggle to find energy to stay on my computer and post. My daughter Lesley and her husband Robin, gave me this wonderful gift of a cruise to Alaska and Lesley and I had a whale of a time! I could just live on that ship - absolutely wanted for nothing! Hope to hear from you all! Don't know how much I can get around posting comments - so will probably have to keep them brief - but will try to get around as much as I can! Thanks to all my friends for their good wishes!

Please go ahead and give me constructive criticism where needed! I am a bit out of practice at both taking and editing decent photographs - so help me if you can!
