FOG ON THE FERRY

Water Theme III

Thank you Damon for organizing this theme - it has generated some wonderful images among the members - relating to "water".

The fog we ran into on the way to Vancouver Island was more scary than the sea. The deck of the ship was almost in darkness, yet the sun shone very brightly through the fog. The fog horn sounded continuously to warn smaller vessels that we were there! There were many other smaller ferries and private ocean going boats on the water before we ran into this pea soup! In the Bow and portside, it was almost completely dark. I managed to take quite a lot of similar shots before doing what the sensible people did - and went back into one of the large passenger lounges out of the dampness! ;-D

Thanks everyone, for your posts yesterday - really appreciate your visits and comments. Anne
